Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard Rules
Points for the leaderboard are earned by participating in the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard Freezeout $100 GTD tournaments, scheduled on alternating days from Sunday, May 2nd through Saturday, June 19th, 2021. Each tournament costs $5.50 to enter. There are twenty-five (25) Freezeout Contest tournaments. Atlas management reserves the right to adjust the tournament parameters if needed during the contest.
A player gets one point for entering a Freezeout Contest tournament and a point for every player he passes. For example, in a 34-player tournament, the contestant earns:
Finishing 1st: 34 points
Finishing 10th 25 points
Finishing 20th 15 points
Finishing 30th 5 points
Finishing last (34th): 1 point
Players are ranked on the leaderboard by the sum of their top 18 scores. If a player participates in more than 18 tournaments, the lowest scores are dropped.
If a player has questions or disputes regarding the leaderboard scoring, the player must send an email to email@example.com by 11pm PT, June 21st, 2021.
Players finishing 19th through 36th on the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard earn a free entry to the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard Semifinals, scheduled for Saturday, June 26th, 2021. All players tied for 36th place, if applicable, earn an entry to the Semifinals. Four tickets to the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard $1,000 Championship will be awarded in the Semifinals.
Players finishing 1st through 18th on the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard earn a free entry to the Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard $1,000 Championship, scheduled for Sunday, June 27th, 2021. The Championship tournament is a freezeout, with no rebuys or add on. All players tied for 18th place, if applicable, earn an entry to the championship tournament. Players’ starting chip stacks are equal to 5,000 chips, plus the leaderboard points multiplied by 50. For example, a player’s best 18 tournament scores total 400. They will start the Championship tournament with 25,000 chips (5,000 + (400 * 50))
If the number of leaderboard participants who have played in 18 or more games reaches 40 players or more, an Atlas Spring 2021 Leaderboard Wildcard tournament with tickets for the Semifinals may be scheduled at the discretion of Atlas management.
Atlas management reserves the right to reschedule tournaments and adjust contest rules in the event of unforeseen circumstance
